Tips and Tricks Tuesday

You're going to laugh.  Forecast for tomorrow is.....SNOW!  If you follow me at all, you know my battle with the ever changing Colorado weather.  I love the snow- in the winter, but we've been going back and forth here.  One day it's nice and sunny; the next it can be cold and snowy.  It just can't make up it's mind.  Very strange.  It makes painting projects a little difficult.  Today, I went primer crazy, trying to get all my pieces primed before the snow drops.  When will I be able to paint them?  Probably on Thursday.  I'm sure it will be sunny and warm Thursday.

If you're new here, welcome to Lewisville!  Today is Tips and Tricks Tuesday! It's a good day to visit here.  I like finding simple solutions to everyday living and sharing some of my favorite tips with you all!  You can find most of these tips on my  Pinterest Tips and Tricks board, where I'd also love to have you follow along.  There's always facebook and twitter too.  If you want to pin these tips on your own board, just click {source} below each picture.  It will take you to the original source of the tip, and it's always best to pin from the original source.

So let's get on with the show.
Tips 1.  I love the idea of displaying photo albums.  I know most of us have gone hi-tech by saving our pictures on cd's, but for those of us who are still old school, you can display all those great photo albums with plate hangers.  It looks great.

Tip 2.  I love this idea because saving space and being organized is always on my to-do list.  You can hang a towel rack (up side down) under a laundry room shelf for extra hanging storage.  Perfect for all those delicate-don't put me in the dryer- garments.

Tip 3.  This is one of those, "why didn't I think of that?"   Hang a shower caddy on the opposite side of the shower with a coat hook so it doesn't interfere with the shower head.  Plus, and this is what I LOVE, your stuff won't get all mildewy and gross!

Tip 4.  Another great idea here.  Use a rotating office caddy, not for pens and pencils, but for your everyday storage of your make-up and brushes.

Tip 5. With summer coming soon, we are looking forward to some outdoor cooking! We Love to barbeque here in Lewisville. I think you southerners call it "grilling".   The kids love burgers and fries of course, but turning on the oven during the summer is a big no-no.  Therefore, I don't usually make fries to go with their burgers, until now that is.    I'll be making these waffle iron hash browns on those hot days.  Tater tots with out the oven? Yes, please!

So there you have it, a few tips and tricks that will hopefully make our lives a little easier.

Blessings,
Lisa
